So I made some changes to the liner notes and sent those over to Josh and after I proof all the art work we will be ready to print them next week hopefully starting Monday. So then next week sometime the CD should be ready and that’s super cool! I can’t wait to get it and share it with everyone. That’s my latest update!

I picked up the mastered copy of Keeping it Salty my new CD and all the songs sound great. I was listening to them using iTunes and thought I heard some distortion on the tracks and I was like oh no what is that?!?! and then I looked and the sound enhancer was checked on and was on high…well I didn’t need any more enhancing to my songs. After I turned that off everything sounded great. I am just waiting on one more artist that I might hear from today about how she wants her info in the liner notes/credits and then I might be done. Hopefully by the end of the week it will be off to the printing presses.   This is so cool!  The artwork looks real professional.

In addition, I booked the Lighthouse for the CD release party on September 26th so hopefully that will go well.

This morning I got up, let the dog out, then met 4 friends at Rudy’s for breakfast tacos. After enjoying breakfast tacos I went rollerblading with Brian for about an hour. It’s been a good morning so far.

Josh Woodhouse e-mailed me the front cover design of my new CD Keeping It Salty and it is looking cool! He said by Monday of next week all the design artwork would be off to the printers for the 200 copies! Rock on!

I got back some of the cover art on my new CD and it looks good.  The mastering is going well although I think I still have much to learn about actually mixing a song and making it sound good.  I think I might in general put too many sounds into some of my songs.  But all that is going on.  The CD is getting finished and the artwork is being finalized.  I have listened to some of the mastering and it sounds good.  

I got a new website.  Life is good and if everything goes well I will have the CD finished up by the end of the month and then I can celebrate it by having a CD release party/CD listening party in September.  So that’s whatsup.  10 songs coming soon to a store near you.
